Rachel & Tim's Washington Coast Elopement

It was really what Washington elopements are all about. Early fall in the PNW, when it's not too cold yet, but the gorgeous fall colors are starting to pop. Rachel & Tim rented an Air BnB for the weekend on a little lake in the middle of the Washington Peninsula near Olympic National Park. The cabin was nestled amongst the trees, right on the edge of the lake. Idyllic.

We woke up the morning of their elopement for a slow, sunrise coffee on the dock before the hustle and bustle of the day would start. Then, a surprise. One of their best friends had secretly collected notes of well wishes and prayers from all of Rachel and Tim's closest family and friends and they opened it in their cabin before getting ready for the day. After their first look, we spent the day adventuring to all the places that were beautiful and special to them. No timeline. No rush. Just exploring to their hearts content. We ended the day on Ruby Beach where the fog rolled in just in time to make their vows look like something from a moody PNW fairy tale...and their first dance by car light...oof.
